Not being hungry upon waking is not a positive thing

When you wake up, your body SHOULD feel hungry because it's been fasting overnight. After about 8 hours, your stored energy (glycogen) runs out, it needs to find other sources for fuel- enter cortisol. Cortisol (your stress hormone) has to get that fuel from breaking down muscle when really it prefers some food.

So to put it simply your body is running on stress hormones instead of food, at a time where cortisol is already naturally high to get you up and going. When your body relies on stress hormones like cortisol DAILY instead of food to maintain energy levels, this can lead to issues like fatigue, poor digestion, mood swings, and even hormone imbalances and acne.
